💰 Future Soldiers: Know Your Money! 🇺🇸

This week, our Future Soldiers received some valuable financial training from Mr. Brett, a retired Navy Chaplain, who taught them how to read and understand their LES (Leave and Earnings Statement). 💵📄

Understanding your LES is important because it helps you know exactly how you’re being paid, what deductions are coming out, your entitlements, leave balance, and other important information about your military pay. Knowing how to read it now can help prevent confusion and help you take control of your finances from day one! 📊💪🏽

And we’re not done! 👀 Mr. Brett will be back next Thursday for more financial training to help our Future Soldiers build a strong financial foundation before they ship out.

Your dedication to serving our country didn’t stop when you became a recruiter. You continued to change lives by helping young men and women take the first step toward a brighter future. Your professionalism, leadership, and commitment to the mission have left a lasting impact on our station, our Future Soldiers, and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside you. Thank you for the mentorship, the laughs, and the memories you gave us every single day. Even though you were a dirty dog, we will miss having you around.

While we’re sad to see you leave, we’re excited to see what’s next in your Army journey. We know you’ll continue making a difference wherever the mission takes you. Don’t forget us!

🚨GOLD BADGE DASR, SSG LARIOSA! 🇺🇸

After more than 3 years of serving as a recruiter, it’s time to say see you later to SSG Lariosa as he returns to the Regular Army to continue his career as an 11B Infantryman.

During his time at the Greenville Army Recruiting Station, SSG Lariosa made a lasting impact on our team and our community. He didn’t just recruit Soldiers, he helped people find direction, build confidence, and take the first step toward achieving goals they never thought possible. Whether it was answering countless questions, mentoring Future Soldiers, or guiding applicants through every step of the enlistment process, his dedication never went unnoticed.

His professionalism, leadership, and commitment to serving others have left a mark on everyone who had the opportunity to work with him. While we’re excited for this next chapter in his Army career, his presence, mentorship, and sense of humor will definitely be missed around the station.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for Greenville and for the many lives you’ve helped shape over the past three years.

📢 Holiday Closure Notice 📢

The Greenville Army Recruiting Station will be closed on June 19 and June 22 in observance of Juneteenth. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on our nation’s history, honor resilience, and celebrate freedom.

Our office will reopen on June 23, and we look forward to assisting future Soldiers and community members at that time.

Congratulations to PV2 Holley on taking the oath and joining the United States Army Reserve as an 88M- Motor Transport Operator 🇺🇸 Your journey starts now!

As an 88M, you’ll be responsible for:

✔️ Transporting personnel, equipment, and supplies
