A shout out to all the local companies that donated items for our silent auction at the fun adult trivia night at Milestone in Mystic.

If you haven’t been to Milestone…. It’s the perfect place for a local date night. Great food and top service.

There will be a silent action of baskets/packages. All funds raised go to support youth activities/programs at Groton Middle School.

GMS School Climate Survey SY 25-26

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Groton Middle School wants to hear about your experience with your student’s education. They invite you to participate in completing the School Climate Survey. This survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the school environment and your personal involvement in school. Your responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.

Beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2026, they invited all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete this survey for our school. The survey is completely anonymous and brief; it contains 26 questions and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. You can take the survey online by using the links on Parent Square.

Your responses are completely anonymous. They have no way to connect you to your answers, and results will only be reported as group responses. There are no right or wrong answers. They just want to know about your personal experiences. Responses are housed securely in an anonymous format at the school and district levels.

As you respond to each item, think about your own personal experiences as a parent, caregiver, or guardian of a GMS student. Please answer all of the questions. If you are unsure of how to best answer a particular question, please mark off “I prefer not to answer.” For your survey to be recorded, all questions must be answered.

Each school’s total survey results will be used to inform and develop appropriate strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance our school climate. We hope you will take the time to provide us with this valuable information. If you have any questions, feel free to call the schools office at 860-446-4200.
