Naval Construction Group TWO

Naval Construction Group TWO NCG 2 serves as administrative Immediate Superior in Command (ISIC) for Active and Reserve Atlantic This is a violation of privacy.

Organize, man, train, maintain, and equip Naval Construction Forces to provide units with the highest possible state of readiness and provide responsive, general and expeditionary engineering capabilities to supported commanders in military operations. Provide the required engineering support our Navy and nation needs to construct and maintain base facilities, to repair battle damaged facilities, to conduct defensive operations as required, to meet disaster preparedness and recovery missions, and to provide Administrative Control (ADCON) oversight of Seabee forces. While this is an open forum, it's also a family friendly one, so please keep your comments and wall posts clean. Today, Naval Construction Group TWO participated in a Deckplate 360 event focused on strengthening teamwork, building resilience, and ensuring our Sailors remain mission ready.

The day began with team sports designed to foster camaraderie, communication, and trust. Each team was assigned a color, with purple and teal representing Su***de Awareness Month and red honoring our deployed Sailors.

The teams then came together for training on the U.S. Navy’s Warrior Toughness program, which develops the mental, physical, and spiritual resilience needed to perform under pressure and overcome challenges. Sailors discussed stress management, available support resources, and the importance of looking out for one another.

Strengthening our people strengthens our ability to accomplish the mission!
