Reminder – CKPPD is continuing to make district wide meter changes; now primarily in the towns we serve. Please be aware we will knock on the door prior to the meter change as this causes a very short interruption in service.

Beat the heat and save energy this summer!
Raise your thermostat a few degrees when possible and make sure to replace dirty/clogged filters so your system runs efficiently. Use smaller appliances instead of the oven to keep extra heat out of the kitchen and remember to close blinds during the hottest times of the day.
Simple actions can lead to significant savings this summer. 😎☀️

In May, we recognize National Electrical Safety Month to raise awareness about reducing electrically related fires, injuries and fatalities. Here are a few important safety tips to keep in mind:
• Never use electrical equipment near water.
• Check all light bulbs to ensure the wattage is safe and suitable for the fixture.
• Extension cords are for temporary use only; never run them under rugs, through walls or across doorways.
• Do not plug too many devices into a single outlet or power strip.
