We finished out the 2025-26 school year today with closing day for HCS, a well deserved Core Value Award recipient, a celebration for two very special retirees, and our annual Bend Gate family final day celebration at Homers!! It has been an amazing year with amazing people!!! 💙🐊🎉🥳@

🌭Friday our 5th graders celebrated with their annual cookout!

🎓Today we had our 5th Grade Walk! Lots of hugs and tears from both students and staff!

💙It’s hard to believe this group’s time at Bend Gate is coming to an end. We are so proud of the growth, memories, friendships, and accomplishments these students have made along the way. They will always have a special place in our hearts.

🐊We will miss you, Gators, but we know you are headed for great things in middle school and beyond!

We loved having Mrs. Lacey and the Henderson County Public Library Mobile Library visit our school today! 📚🚐

Students got to explore books, movies, video games, mobile printing, WiFi access, and so many awesome library resources right here on campus. The HCPL Mobile Library will be making stops all summer long throughout the Bend Gate district at neighborhood and apartment complexes, helping keep our community connected to reading and learning all summer break long!
