đș Honoring a Legacy of Care and Readiness đș
Did you know that Tripler Army Medical Center is named after Brig. Gen. Charles Tripler, a true pioneer in military medicine?
In an era when disease claimed more soldiers than battle, Tripler championed better standards in recruiting, sanitation, and medical care. From the battlefields of the 1800s to the Indo-Pacificâs largest military hospital, Triplerâs vision lives on.
Today, TAMC serves over 264,000 beneficiaries and supports U.S. forces across more than 40 countries, delivering healthcare and providing readiness.
Recent achievements include:
â Pathway to Excellence hospital designation (2024)
â First military hospital in the Defense Health Agency to adopt the Joint Professional Practice Model (2026)
â 5-star patient recommendation rating (2026)
â Continued Joint Commission accreditation (2025)
â Greenhealth Partner for Change Award (2025)
Triplerâs legacy is more than a name. Itâs a commitment to saving lives, supporting our military, and providing exceptional care to all entrusted to us. Weâre proud to carry forward his mission every day.
