đŸŒș Honoring a Legacy of Care and Readiness đŸŒș

Did you know that Tripler Army Medical Center is named after Brig. Gen. Charles Tripler, a true pioneer in military medicine?

In an era when disease claimed more soldiers than battle, Tripler championed better standards in recruiting, sanitation, and medical care. From the battlefields of the 1800s to the Indo-Pacific’s largest military hospital, Tripler’s vision lives on.

Today, TAMC serves over 264,000 beneficiaries and supports U.S. forces across more than 40 countries, delivering healthcare and providing readiness.

Recent achievements include:
⭐ Pathway to Excellence hospital designation (2024)
⭐ First military hospital in the Defense Health Agency to adopt the Joint Professional Practice Model (2026)
⭐ 5-star patient recommendation rating (2026)
⭐ Continued Joint Commission accreditation (2025)
⭐ Greenhealth Partner for Change Award (2025)

Tripler’s legacy is more than a name. It’s a commitment to saving lives, supporting our military, and providing exceptional care to all entrusted to us. We’re proud to carry forward his mission every day.

Some missions don’t end when you get home.

If you’re carrying more than you should have to—talk to someone. You don’t have to do it alone.
