NAVAC Hawaii is the Navy’s single touch-point for all facilities engineering products and services in Hawaii. It is located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. NAVFAC Hawaii is an Echelon IV command reporting to NAVFAC Pacific also located on Oahu, Hawaii. The command employs 1,375+ highly-skilled civilian federal workers and 200 military personnel including Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officers and enlisted Seabees, as well as Air Force officers and enlisted personnel. They are distributed throughout the Pearl Harbor area as well as Leeward and Windward portions of Oahu, with a small number of employees at Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kauai. NAVFAC Hawaii’s headquarters building is located on a 71-acre compound off of Radford Drive near the Navy Exchange at Pearl Harbor. Services are delivered through in-house shop forces and a broad range of contract vehicles as well as reach-back through the NAVFAC organization to access additional expertise and contracting vehicles. The Commanding Officer of NAVFAC Hawaii also serves as Navy Region Hawaii's Regional Engineer.

We are closely monitoring two weather systems, Hurricane Lowell and Karina in the Pacific Region with potential impacts to Oahu. JBPHH remains at TCCOR 5 and we will share updates as conditions change.

Regardless of potential impacts, use it as a reminder to review your emergency plans and ensure your household is fully prepared:

• Ensure your contact information in AtHoc is current.
• Sign up for DoD Alert! Mass warning notification system at: https://dod.alert.mil/ The transition period is 30SEPT2026.
• Check your emergency kits and fill up on supplies: 14 days food, water, medication, batteries, etc.
• Check in with family and friends: how you will get in contact and where you will go during an emergency or evacuation?

NAVFAC Hawaii hosted its All Hands and Awards Ceremony at Nelles Chapel on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Aug. 26, 2026.

The ceremony recognized our quarterly award winners, length-of-service recipients, and other special award recipients for their outstanding contributions and dedication to the command.

The event also marked NAVFAC Hawaii commanding officer, Capt. Weurielus "Trey" Johnson’s first All Hands ceremony to host. He provided command updates and shared important information with the NAVFAC Hawaii team.
