We made it to the Country Living Fair! 🤍

After days on the road, today was officially Day 1 of setup in Rhinebeck, New York — and we got right to work.

One of my jobs for our barn was getting all 28 spaces ready for the other vendors joining us at Makers Market + More. Numbers are up, spaces are measured, and everything is ready for their arrival!

Now it’s time to work on our own Hibiscus Linens space and watch this whole barn come to life. 🧵✨

So excited to welcome everyone and show you what we’ve been working on!

The FINAL day of the Road to The Country Living Fair

We’ve crossed states, made plenty of side quests, packed way too much into the car, and driven more miles than I want to count… and today we finally make it to NEW YORK! 🍎

Next stop: Rhinebeck and the Country Living Fair! 🤍

We made it!!! Now the real fun begins. ✨

DAY 5 — Road to the Country Living Fair 🚙🧵

Virginia, you were beautiful. 🤍

Another day on the road, a few little side quests, lots of miles, and getting closer and closer to Rhinebeck!

At this point the car is VERY full, the snacks are disappearing, and the excitement is definitely building. 😂

Next stop: Pennsylvania and then NEW YORK! 🍂🗽

DAY 4 - Road to The Country Living Fair

Today’s side quest: a stop in Birmingham to pick up a few very important things for the Country Living Fair at the Country Living magazine offices!

It’s starting to feel VERY real.
Car loaded, treasures secured, and now we’re heading NORTH! * Next stop... getting closer and closer to Rhinebeck and the Country Living Fair!

DAY 3 - ROAD TO The Country Living Fair
Day 3 was A LOT
We packed, loaded everything up, and finally hit the road toward Mississippi! What should have been an 8-hour drive somehow turned into 11 hours thanks to traffic.
But here we are!! one day closer to Rhinebeck and the Country Living Fair!
Today we’re back on the road, hopefully with a little less traffic... and definitely with a few side quests along the way.
Let’s see where Day 4 takes us!

DAY TWO 🚙 The Road to The Country Living Fair

Georgetown → Round Top, Texas 🤠

Not quite heading north yet! Today we’re making our way to Round Top for a 24 hrs of packing, organizing, and getting everything ready for the Country Living Fair.

There are a LOT of boxes, a LOT of things still on my list, and somehow we have to fit it all in the car and trailer! 😂😂

Tomorrow the real adventure begins.

Country Living Fair, here we come! ❤️🧵✨

I’m so excited to be heading to Rhinebeck, New York, October 2–4 for a weekend celebrating all the things I love most: making things by hand, learning from one another, and shopping from incredibly talented makers.

This year you can find me in a few places around the Fair — I’ll be joining the Return to Craft: The Joy of Analog Pastimes panel, teaching Embroidery and Fabric Rosettes, AND you can shop Hibiscus Linens all weekend at the Makers Market + More!

We’ll be bringing lots of pretty things, and I cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working on. 💙
