HCD Director Mike Nichols recently participated in a virtual interview to unpack details about the City’s Homelessness Strategy.

➡️ He detailed how the initiative is dedicated to actively engaging every individual experiencing street homelessness, ensuring they’re connected with the appropriate organizations, housing and supportive services. 🏠✨

Nichols shared updates on the city’s achievements in securing significant funding and spotlighted the collaborative success of the Allen’s Landing pilot—the area has been restored for public use and enjoyment. The program successfully connected 19 unhoused individuals to supportive housing and resources.
