🏗️ Breaking Ground on a New Chapter for Houston Seniors 🏡✨

Today, the City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department (HCD), alongside our partners, celebrated the groundbreaking of Trinity East Village Senior a new 90-unit affordable senior housing community in Houston’s Historic Third Ward. 🎉🏘️

As housing costs continue to rise, many longtime residents face difficult decisions about where they can afford to live.

Trinity East Village Senior will help adults ages 55+ remain in the neighborhoods they know and love by providing quality, affordable homes that support aging in place. 💙🏠

🌱 The development is part of the ongoing transformation of the Cuney Homes area through the federal Choice Neighborhoods Initiative, creating new opportunities for residents to stay connected to family, neighbors, and community resources. 🤝🏘️

💰 With a $4 million investment from the City of Houston, this community will provide seniors with a safe place to call home, along with amenities that promote wellness, connection, and independence. 🌿✨

🤝 Together, we’re building more than housing, we’re creating opportunities for Houston seniors to thrive, stay rooted, and continue to call their community home. ❤️🏡
