A couple of reminders from HUES!!

Reminder about our annual Back to School Bash is this Thursday, August 13 from 5:30-7:00 with a $2.00 entry! This will be the 3rd year doing this, and we are excited about it. We want all of our HUES families and students to come meet our staff while having a wonderful time. If we have to cancel due to rain, etc.., we will let you know the morning of the bash.

We are still currently still selling the t-shirts attached below for a PBIS Fundraiser. All proceeds goes back towards HUES student incentives. Please consider getting one and support a good cause!

🍎 McTeacher’s Night is Coming to Houston!

Mark your calendars, HMS family! Houston Middle School’s McTeacher’s Night is coming up Tuesday, August 18, and we’d love to see our community come out and support HMS.

Enjoy dinner, spend time with members of our school community, and take part in a fun evening that gives back to Houston Middle School.

And keep an eye out for a few familiar HMS teachers making a special appearance — including some who may be dressed for the occasion in an apple pie costume! 🥧

🎬⚡ MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY! ⚡🎬

We’re wrapping up the first week of school at Houston Middle School with a little extra energy! Today’s theme was “You will have main character energy this year!” and our staff definitely felt the love.

A huge thank-you to the HMS PTO for providing our teachers with energy drinks to help power them through the final day of Week One! We also want to give a special shoutout to TrainHer Fitness for providing coffee and snacks from Drip-n-Sip. ☕🍪

What a great way to finish our first week! We appreciate everyone who continues to pour into our teachers and staff and help make HMS a special place to be. ❤️

HUES has the best PTO. They fed our staff lunch today. It was so good! Thank you. It was just what we needed to end our first week back together.
