A special thank you to Mayra Rios, WLSC Clinical Intern for leading today's Physical Wellness session and sharing her talents with The Women's Home!

Today's class was a wonderful reminder that taking care of ourselves doesn't always require an intense workout; sometimes the smallest movements can make the biggest impact. For those of us who spend much of the day sitting at a desk, in meetings, or serving others, taking a few moments to stretch and move our bodies can help improve posture, relieve tension, increase energy, and bring greater focus and mental clarity.

This session also reflected an important part of our WholeLife® Model, our Physical Wellness domain. When we intentionally care for our physical well-being, we are better equipped to care for one another, support our clients, and fulfill our mission with energy and purpose. Wellness isn't just something we encourage for those we serve; it's something we strive to cultivate within our own team as well.
