Covenant House Texas Our front door is the first stop on the road to a new life for youth ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness.

Since 1983, Covenant House Texas remains the only organization in Texas providing an extensive continuum of care to youth experiencing homelessness including mental health and substance abuse counseling, educational and vocational training, transitional and permanent living programs, street outreach and prevention, pastoral ministry and parenting classes in addition to providing the basic necessities of food, clothing, medical care and safe shelter from the streets.

Courage is showing up when others need you most.

25 years ago today, our nation experienced a tragedy that changed countless lives forever.

On September 11, we remember those who were lost, honor the first responders and others who served, and reflect on the extraordinary courage shown by people who stepped forward to help others in a moment of crisis.

That kind of courage still matters.

At Covenant House Texas, we see it every day in the people who surround young people experiencing homelessness with care, stability, opportunity, and hope.

It is found in staff who walk alongside youth through difficult seasons.
In volunteers who give their time.
In donors who make life-changing services possible.
In community partners who open doors to brighter futures.

It takes teamwork to help a young person move from crisis toward stability and independence.

That same teamwork is going to be demonstrated by corporate teams participating in Guts + Glory on Saturday, September 26, as they compete in a one-of-a-kind obstacle course and rally to raise support for our youth. Teams will also hear from retired U.S. Navy SEAL Mike Sarraille who translates elite military leadership into practical strategies for high-performing teams.

Today, we remember. We honor. And we and our corporate partners recommit ourselves to serving others with compassion and courage.
