U.S. Attorney Aaron Reitz had a great visit with our team in McAllen, TX—one of our three offices right on the U.S.-Mexico border.

These patriotic lawyers are doing tremendous work to secure the border, build the wall, defeat the cartels, and halt the flood of drugs, aliens, and crime.

Flashback Friday to Aug. 7, 2023 – a traffic stop on a Lexus in Victoria led authorities to a Corpus Christi couple carrying more than 5,800 grams of m**h. During a search of the vehicle, law enforcement discovered cookies layered between large plastic containers containing narcotics. Authorities also seized he**in, Xanax, pills, multiple handguns, and a stolen firearm.

The substance was confirmed to be m**h with a purity level of 94%.

Jason Elijah Talley and Crystal Nicole Samora were later sentenced to 168 and 132 months in federal prison, respectively.
