We are incredibly grateful for the Astros Foundation's continued support and commitment to ending childhood hunger in Houston.

Between our Montgomery County and Spring Branch locations, Astros Foundation volunteers have already contributed an amazing 1,450 volunteer hours in 2026. Every volunteer shift helps create brighter days for local children and families, and we're honored to have partners who consistently step up to make a difference.

Even more, through the Astros Foundation Share2Care program, we’ve been able to make and deliver more than 12,000 lunches!

Join us in celebrating Crest Management Company, our Juice Box Challenge Large Team Champion! 🥳🧃

With nearly 127,000 juice boxes raised, Crest Management once again went above and beyond to help ensure thousands of Houston children receive complete, healthy meals this summer. Their incredible effort earned them not one, but two Juice Box Challenge trophies: Large Team Champion and Most Vocal. 🏆🏆

Throughout the campaign, they shared their Juice Box Challenge journey on social media more than 350 times, inspiring others to get involved and helping spread awareness of our mission to end childhood hunger.

Year after year, Crest Management shows what a team united by purpose can accomplish. Their incredible generosity helps complete thousands of meals while rallying the community to make an even greater impact.

Yesterday, we celebrated 20 years of nourishing Houston's youngest children, together.

We are honored to receive a Kids' Meals Day proclamation from John Whitmire and Vice Mayor Pro Tem Amy Peck and Council Member Joaquin Martinez in recognition of our 20th anniversary. This proclamation reflects the collective impact of our volunteers, donors, partners, staff, and supporters who have made this work possible for two decades.

Since 2006, our Hunger Hero community has made and delivered more than 20 million meals to preschool-aged children facing food insecurity across Greater Houston!

While we celebrate how far we've come, we remain focused on the children who still need us and the future we're building together.

Thank you to the City of Houston for recognizing this milestone, thank you also to Council Member Twila Carter for her steadfast support of our mission, and thank you to everyone who has helped deliver hope!
