There are only a few days left to take action during Hunger Action Month.

For thousands of preschool-aged children across Houston, access to healthy food isn’t always guaranteed. Your gift to Kids’ Meals helps deliver free, healthy meals directly to the doorsteps of children facing hunger.

A $10 donation provides 5 meals and ensures Houston’s little ones have the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.

Make your gift before Hunger Action Month ends on Sept. 30. 🧡 https://kidsmealsinc.org/give/

There are a lot of moving pieces behind every meal we deliver, and thankfully, we don’t have to do it alone. 🧡

Day after day, volunteers walk through our doors and help prepare the thousands of meals that are delivered to preschool-aged children facing hunger across Houston.

This week’s Hunger Heroes brought their time, energy, and willingness to help, and we’re so grateful they chose to spend it with us.

There’s always room for more at the table. Sign up to volunteer today and join the Hunger Hero family! https://kidsmealsinc.org/take-action/volunteer/

Why should you volunteer? Because more than 100,000 preschool-aged children across Houston are facing food insecurity.

Every volunteer shift helps Kids’ Meals deliver more than 13,000 free, healthy meals each weekday directly to the homes of children who may not know where their next meal is coming from.

And your impact is immediate. The meals you pack during your shift will be delivered to a child within just 24–48 hours.

Sign up to volunteer today and be the reason 13,000+ children have a meal tomorrow. 🧡🍎

TDECU & the Houston Texans took over Kids’ Meals! 🏈❤️

Both teams came together for the TDECU Red Zone Kickoff Event, celebrating the start of the 2026 NFL season and another year of making an impact for Houston’s little ones.

This season, every time the Texans enter the Red Zone, TDECU will donate $300 to Kids’ Meals, turning big moments on the field into moments of hope for children facing hunger across our community.

Thank you, TDECU and the Houston Texans, for kicking off the season with us and continuing to show up for Houston’s little ones!

It’s your team’s turn to takeover! Schedule your takeover day today using the link in our bio. ☺️

These are some of the faces behind another successful week at Kids’ Meals. 🧡

Our Hunger Heroes come from all over Houston and from all walks of life. They’re coworkers looking for a way to give back together, families making volunteering part of their routine, friends spending a morning doing something meaningful, and individuals who simply decided to lend a hand.

We love seeing new faces walk through our doors, and we especially love seeing them come back.

There’s a place for you here, too. Join the Hunger Hero family and sign up for a volunteer shift today: https://kidsmealsinc.org/volunteer/

Decorating bags is one of the easiest ways to get involved with Kids’ Meals, and the best part is: you can do it from anywhere! All you need are brown lunch bags, art supplies of your choice, and a little creativity!

Once decorated, these bags will be used to pack free, healthy lunches delivered to preschool-aged children facing hunger across Houston.

Whether you decorate one bag or one hundred, you’re helping make each meal feel a little more special.

Swipe for everything you need to know to start decorating! ➡️🎨

Every weekday, more than 13,000 free, healthy meals leave Kids’ Meals and are delivered directly to the homes of preschool-aged children across Houston. 🧡🍎

Making that happen each day takes many hands, and our volunteers are an important part of the work behind every meal.

When volunteers walk through our doors, they step right into our mission. Whether they’re packing lunches, preparing food, or decorating bags, the time they give helps us keep thousands of meals moving out the door and into the hands of children who need them.

Thank you to this week’s Hunger Heroes for giving your time and being part of the community that makes our mission possible. 🧡
