Whether it’s your very first day or your final year at Whitesburg, we’re so excited to start a brand new school year with you!

To our students: Be curious, be kind, and do your best. We believe in each and every one of you, and we can’t wait to see all you’ll accomplish this year.

To our teachers and staff: Thank you for choosing to invest your time, talents, and hearts in our children. We are incredibly grateful for all you do and for your continued dedication to our students.

To our families: Thank you for partnering with us to make this an incredible year. Your support and involvement make an incredible difference and we can’t wait to work alongside you.

Signing up for PTA is one quick form (cash or check - ONLY $5 individual). You can also sign up online via givebacks too. *keep in mind there is a small processing fee when signing up online.*

Meet our treasurer, Chris Hulsey!
“Hello Everyone! My name is Chris Hulsey. I have served as our PTA treasurer for the last couple of years, and am I excited to continue to serve Whitesburg this coming year. Prior to this role, my wife and I managed the Middle School activities at Whitesburg. Before that, we served on Chaffee’s PTA and we are also currently serving on the Grissom PTA. My wife, Belinda, and I have both served as much as we could with Chaffee, Whitesburg, and Grissom since our now UAH freshman daughter, Hannah, started school some 15 yrs ago. We’ve seen about every field trip, dance, sport, and events HCS has to offer. Our son, Cooper, is now an honors student playing baseball and football at Grissom. Whether it was leading daycare classes at Whitesburg Baptist, coaching and organizing youth sports, or helping with our PTAs, we have enjoyed helping to make all these organizations succeed for all the children and our community. Looking forward to a great year at Whitesburg!“
