🙌 Thank you for making the IEDA Summer Conference a success!

From engaging sessions and valuable networking to hearing from the Indiana Secretary of Commerce during lunch, this year's conference was filled with learning, collaboration, and meaningful conversation.

The theme, Indiana's EDO Voice, was evident throughout the day as economic development professionals from across the state came together to share ideas, support one another, and strengthen our collective impact.

Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees for helping make this event such a memorable experience. We are proud to be part of such a strong and connected community.

⛳ We swung into the conference in style!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Topgolf to kick off the IEDA Summer Conference. It was a great evening of networking, laughter, and connection as economic development professionals from across Indiana came together before a full day of learning and collaboration.

Whether you were hitting the target or cheering on colleagues, the evening was a fantastic reminder of the relationships that make Indiana's economic development community so strong.

Thanks for helping us start the conference on a high note and bring Indiana's EDO Voice to life!

➡️If you had a theme song, what would it be? I’m going with “I’m a Survivor”- By Reba McEntire because between work, kids, and everything else, sone days that just feels the most accurate! 😊
➡️If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go? Hawaii
➡️What motivates or excites you to serve on the IEDA Board of Directors? I love being apart of the IEDA Board of Directors and just being involved with IEDA in general. For someone rooted in a rural community, being involved in IEDA has been huge. I’ve gained insight into funding opportunities, programs, and partnerships, that can help me make sure that Martin County doesn’t get overlooked. I’ve enjoyed collaborating with community advocates across the state. That kind of network has helped me amplify my local work and the ability to get things done!

In my opinion, IEDA is the collective of Indiana’s economic development leaders working to make a better tomorrow for all Hoosiers. I’m excited for IEDA to pursue additional resources and support that will help uplift our profession and ultimately the Hoosier State.

You never know who you'll run into at Buc-ee's! 😄

While making a stop in Kentucky on my way to Nashville for a long weekend, I unexpectedly bumped into a fellow IEDA member. What are the odds?

Moments like this remind me how connected Indiana's economic development community really is. Whether we're meeting at conferences, in our hometowns, or somewhere in between, the relationships built through IEDA make our association feel like a true community.

Anyone else have a fun "small world" moment while traveling?

IEDA is a trusted organization for networking, policy, and promoting economic and community development best practices in our state. I'm glad to be on the IEDA’s board as a way to give back to the organization that has done so much to help my career and being my best in attracting new investment and high-paying jobs to Dearborn County.
