Teton County Emergency Management Responsible for mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery from disasters in Teton County, WY

Teton County Emergency Management’s responsibilities encompass all phases of emergency management: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery. We coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as private and volunteer entities, to develop, maintain, and implement Teton County’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). We also provide education and training to citizens and responders, and maintain the county’s wireless communications infrastructure.

🌩️⚡️🌬️Heads up anyone enjoying outdoor activities today! US National Weather Service Riverton Wyoming is forecasting scattered showers and thunderstorms across Western Wyoming this afternoon, with wind gusts exceeding 50 mph, and isolated gusts over 70 mph possible! Dry lightning is also possible. Most shower and thunderstorm activity is expected between 1pm-8pm today. Stay safe and adjust your plans if needed.
