Today, we would like to recognize Hadley Bex for her quick thinking, courage, and willingness to act in an emergency.

When a member of her family experienced a life-threatening medical emergency, she immediately stepped in and performed CPR until emergency medical assistance arrived.

Her ability to remain calm and take action during such a critical moment is a powerful reminder of the importance of CPR training and being prepared to respond when every second matters. While we teach American Heart Association classes, any training is better than no training. Whether in Juneau or beyond, CPR skills have the potential to make a life-saving difference on someone’s worst day.

Our thoughts are with Hadley and her family as they go through recovery, and we are proud to recognize Hadley for making a difference when it counted most.
