Back to school… PSAC style! 🍎

Our PSAC members are showing us that you’re never too old for a classic back to school photo! The school days may be in the past, but the memories, lessons and stories are still worth sharing.

The team from Audiology & Hearing Center will be at Peterson Senior Activity Center on Thursday, August 6, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. They'll be available to check your hearing aids, answer questions, and help make sure you're hearing your best.

No appointment needed—just stop by!

Pre-register for Kearney Park & Recreation's Grandparents Day Sunday, September 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Yanney Park.

The event costs $8 and will begin at PSAC. Crafts and activities will be geared towards children ages 4-12 years old, but all ages are welcome.

Looking for meaningful conversation and connection?

Join us on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM in the PSAC Library for our Reminiscing Group, led by two University of Nebraska at Kearney students.

Each week, the facilitators introduce two discussion topics that spark memories, stories, and conversation in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Research has shown that reminiscing groups can:
🧠 Strengthen cognitive function
💬 Improve communication
💙 Reduce anxiety
🤝 Support individuals experiencing early-stage dementia
🌟 Foster social connection, purpose, and a sense of belonging
