Member Monday - Yes, we know it's Tuesday! 😋
Every other Monday, we post hints about our Member Monday on the TV's in our dining room. On Tuesdays, we reveal who it was! Whoever guesses correctly based on the hints gets put into a drawing for a free meal.
This week, we are excited to introduce a familiar face at PSAC - Jo Staab! Jo volunteers at the front desk and during the lunch hour, helping punch lunch tickets.
Jo has called Kearney home for 70 years and has been a PSAC member for 15 years! Her favorite thing about PSAC are the friendly people and she's a big fan of the roast beef.
Fun facts about Jo:
🚗 Her first car was an "old" Mercury
🎵 Her favorite song is "One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus"
💍Her and her husband were high school sweethearts!
💪 She gives 100% every week - 10% on Monday, 20% on Tuesday, 20% on Wednesday, 30% on Thursday, and 20% on Friday. That's 100% by the end of the week! 😅
When asked, what she wished she had known at age 20, she said:
"Getting older is not the golden years!"
Jo worked as a teacher for 2 years before spending 39 years as a secretary at Northeast Elementary School.
