Meet Katie Matherne, Office Manager at Lampton-Love! Katie has been with the company for a year and a half and enjoys helping others, serving customers, and staying busy.
For Katie, the most rewarding part of her job is hearing from customers that they’re pleased with the work her team provides. During her time at Lampton-Love, she’s learned more about the propane business and the importance of working together and communicating.
Katie takes pride in providing great customer service and making sure customers receive their deliveries and payments are handled in a timely manner.
What makes Lampton-Love different? Katie says everyone is willing to help, whether they’re in the office or at corporate.
And outside of work, Katie’s favorite way to unwind is riding horses and competing in shows!

Congratulations on 35 years, Bridget Kirkley!

Bridget Kirkley officially joined Lampton Love on May 23, 1991, but her story with the company started even earlier when she worked part-time in the mid-1980s. What began as a part-time job turned into a 35-year career as an Office Manager!

Bridget loves working with people, building relationships with customers, and serving the Collins and Petal communities. She also enjoys working with numbers and knowing her work helps provide heat for generations of families.

Over the years, Bridget has watched Lampton Love grow tremendously and is grateful she found a place where she could build a career while raising her two daughters with her husband, Tony. Looking back, she says she took a chance on the company and held on for the ride, and she’s thankful she did! Many know her as “the lady from the gas company,” but to her grandchildren, she’s simply Nana.

Last week was Driver Appreciation Week, but here at Lampton Love, we wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate all of our employees.

Our drivers are out there every day delivering propane and taking care of our customers, but they couldn’t do it without the many people behind the scenes supporting them along the way.

Each of our branches took the time to celebrate their teams with lunches, dinners, giveaways, and plenty of appreciation. From the drivers and service technicians in the field to our office teams, customer service representatives, managers, and everyone working behind the scenes, every person plays an important role in keeping Lampton Love moving.

To our drivers, thank you for the long hours, early mornings, hard work, and commitment to our customers.

To our office staff and customer service teams, thank you for keeping things organized, answering the phones, supporting our customers, and making sure our field teams have what they need.

🚒 Lampton Love of Pelahatchie was proud to host a Propane Recognition & Emergency Response Training at the Rankin County EOC.

More than 55 volunteer firefighters and EOC personnel participated in this specialized training. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support those who dedicate their time to keeping our communities safe.

A Day Filled with Learning

Our recent CSR Training brought our MS and LA teams together for a day of learning, collaboration and lots of fun. We had a variety of speakers who shared valuable insights, practical tips, and real-world experiences to help us continue delivering exceptional customer service.

Learning was made even better with wonderful food and snacks, door prizes, and loaded teas that kept the energy going throughout the afternoon.

Just a friendly **REMINDER**

Please make sure when you are getting your propane bottles filled, at ANY location, that they are filling your tanks on a scale! There is a limit that each bottle can hold and if they are filled over capacity, it is unlawful and extremely dangerous.
