The annual Kreative Kiddos event happened last week at the Lake Stevens Community Resource Center. Families and their children spent the afternoon crafting, creating, and having fun together at this free event.

We saw so much creativity and talent from all the little artists who joined us! Thank you to everyone who came out and participated. We had so much fun! 💙

Come join the Lake Stevens Community Resource Center and Sherwood Community Services for our 4th annual Kreative Kiddos.

Join us on August 26th for an afternoon of community building, barrier-reducing arts and crafts! Art projects will be provided, free of charge, for varying cognitive and developmental levels for children ages 5-13. Parents are invited to stay and engage with their child and their peers through a pre-designed and free of charge creative crafting day, refreshments will be provided!

August 26th from 12pm-4pm we encourage you and your family to step into our neuro-diverse community and paint, draw, or simply enjoy time with your neighbors. If interested, please RSVP by reaching out to us at 425-405-2252

What a great day at the Lake Stevens Back to School Fair!
On Saturday, the VOAWW Lake Stevens Community Resource Center and Lake Stevens School District came together to help local families get ready for the new school year. 290 kids received backpacks and school supplies, and some teens also received brand new shoes.

Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue was there distributing free helmets to kids and the Lake Stevens Community Food Bank provided lunch for everyone at the event. We also had several community organizations join us to share resources, services, and information with local families.

We’re proud to bring this event back for another year and to see so many organizations come together to support our community. Events like this are possible because of the partnerships and collaboration that make it all happen.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, and to all the families who came out to celebrate the start of a new school year with us!

The Lake Stevens Community Resource Center and Lake Stevens School District are excited to announce this year's Back to School event! Join us on Saturday, August 8th, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Cavelero Mid High School, located at 8220 24th St SE, Lake Stevens.
Come and connect with over 25 partners who serve the Lake Stevens community. A complimentary lunch will be provided by the Lake Stevens Community Food Bank.
We look forward to seeing you there!
*Children must be present to receive backpacks and school supplies.
*Families must meet low income eligibility requirements, and children must be enrolled in the Lake Stevens School District. Income verification is required (National School Lunch Program letter, EBT, or other benefit documentation).
