The American Legion was founded in 1919 after WWI and the adoption of our founding four pillars was passed. Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation, National Security, Children & Youth, and Americanism. Our department committees are in place to promote, and oversee the activities in the department of each of the 4 pillars. Our main mission, Veterans serving Veterans.

This exciting contest challenges students to explore the U.S. Constitution, build confidence, and strengthen their public speaking skills—all while competing for scholarship opportunities.
