Their first topic is our traffic initiative, and after an incredibly productive meeting full of suggestions, recommendations, and ideas, we’re proud of their innovation and commitment, and can’t wait to see what promising proposals they come up with!

For his work enhancing, empowering, and enriching our community, Hispanic Citizen’s Alliance Officer Childs was recognized with a commendable action, presented by our Captain at the last Hispanic Citizen’s Police Academy graduation in front of his peers, students, and our friends from Las Vegas Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association ! We leveled up with our partners at LVMPD’s Metropolitan Multi Cultural Advisory Council, Clark County, Nevada, LVMPD Southeast Area Command, University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, Clark County Fire Department, Clark County Parks & Recreation, Houdini Wraps, ExploreMetro, Employ NV, Words Are Rich Foundation and more for a safety, engaged 100 days of summer!

The summit featured a resource fair and workshops focused on summer safety, decision-making, and substance abuse awareness, as well as plenty of reminders for our youth that the community is here to support them and help them thrive!

The support and learning continues throughout the summer, too! Come join us for late night programming offered at four different community centers across the valley, featuring sports, creative workshops, mentorship, and more!

Alongside our partners from Nevada State Police, Las Vegas DPS, City of Las Vegas Government, CCSDPD, LVMPD Northwest Area Command, ExploreMetro, LVMPD Metro Volunteer Program - MVP. LVMPD SWAT and ARMOR teams, Vegas Golden Knights, Siegel Cares, and Pinkbox Doughnuts, we came together for Cops on a Rooftop to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics Nevada! We connected over sweet treats, good music, and the best company all for a great cause.
