The water service will be temporarily shut off for maintenance beginning at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. This interruption will affect residents in the Rolling Hills and Quarry Road areas in Castlewood, VA.

Boil Water Advisory – Castlewood, VA

Due to a main water line break, customers in the following areas of Castlewood, Virginia are under a boil water advisory:
• Red Oak Ridge
• Church Street
• Campbell Street

Our crews are working diligently to repair the water line and restore normal service as quickly as possible.

Residents in the affected areas have been notified. Until further notice, customers should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

MEW ROAD
Due to main line repairs on Mew Road, from the lower end to the Scott County line, a boil water advisory is now in effect.
As a precaution, bring all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing food to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before use.
We are working diligently to repair and restore normal service as quickly and safely as possible. This advisory remains in effect until water quality tests confirm the water is safe to consume. We will issue an update once the advisory is lifted.
