A CASA Volunteer’s superpower is simple- they show up.

CASAs become the steady, supportive adult a child can count on throughout their case. They champion safety, stability, and permanency when everything else feels uncertain.

Becoming a CASA Volunteer is an invaluable opportunity to help shape a child’s future in a deeply positive way. 💙

CASA Volunteers are everyday people making an extraordinary impact in a child’s life. How do they do that? Here's a look at what our volunteers do:

- Advocate for the child’s best interests in court and throughout the judicial process.

- Give individualized attention to a child’s case when the system is overloaded.

- Help move cases forward, reducing delays in foster placements and permanency decisions.

- Offer stability and support when a child’s world feels uncertain.

- Champion a safe, permanent, loving home for every child they serve.

- Stand as the one constant in a child’s life during a difficult season.

If these roles are something that interests you and drives your passion for making a difference in a child's life, then you would make a great CASA Volunteer!

On International Family Day, CASA celebrates the people who shape us, steady us, and help us grow. Families are the launching pad where we first learn how to navigate the many complex layers of life: social stability, emotional well‑being, resilience, and overall development all begin with the connections we build at home.

Family isn’t defined by a single structure. It comes in many beautiful forms: biological, foster, adoptive, kinship, chosen family, and more. Each one plays a powerful role in supporting children and strengthening communities.

In a digital world where meaningful connection can be hard to maintain, International Family Day invites us to slow down, reflect, and honor the relationships that keep us grounded. The people who show up. The people who love us. The people we call family.

💙May 7th is Children's Mental Health Awareness Day💙

Today highlights the importance of mental health for children and adolescents. A child’s mental well‑being grows in safe environments, with access to care, and with adults who help them build healthy social skills.

CASA volunteers stand beside children to help ensure those supports are within reach. Hope is here. Hope starts with you.

💙 Today, on National Foster Care Day, we honor the incredible strength that lies within every child who enters foster care and the families that offer a safe place to land.

Children enter foster care through no fault of their own, and foster families selflessly step in with love, stability, and support during one of the most difficult times in a child's life. Their compassion helps children feel safe as they navigate uncertainty.

At CASA, we see that inner strength every day. We see resilience. We see courage. And we see the power of having caring adults who show up and stand beside them.

Today brings into focus the undeniable courage that lies within them all. 💙

💙May is Foster Care Awareness Month💙

This month, we honor everyone who supports children in foster care. Caregivers, professionals, advocates, and community members consistently demonstrate the power of compassion as they stand alongside children during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Foster youth deserve safety, stability, and someone in their corner. Our CASA volunteers help make that possible by being a steady voice and a trusted advocate.
