Heroes come in all sizes. This little superhero was once a Wilson County CASA kid. He stands as a reminder of the courage children carry and the victories they’re capable of when surrounded by safety, stability, and support.

CASA work isn’t always easy. Sometimes it can feel like walking through quicksand or wondering if the steps we’re taking can actually make a difference. But then moments like this happen. Stories like his unfold. And children like this remind us why we keep coming back, showing up, and standing for the best interests of every child who walks through our doors.

Because every child in Wilson County deserves a life where safety and stability aren’t superpowers... they’re a given.

Behind every successful event is a team of people working quietly to make it happen. At EMTAR's CASA de Moda Fashion Show, the Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary Club is that team.

Every year, they are among the first to arrive and the last to leave, helping vendors and sponsors set up, supporting event preparations behind the scenes, and serving hundreds of dinners to our guests. The runway may be center stage, but the Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary Club is a big part of what makes the show possible.

✨️About last night!✨️
EMTAR’s annual CASA de Moda Fashion Show brought together vendors, volunteers, and community members from all over Wilson County in support of CASA kids. There was no shortage of tea‑themed elegance, creativity, and fashion! And for the first time, this year’s show featured a live auction! Congrats to the lucky buyers of Judge Tatum’s famous cheesecakes... you made the night even sweeter.

We are grateful to everyone who participated, donated, modeled, volunteered, and cheered us on. We hope you left with a smile and a good feeling knowing that you helped children who need it most.

Some people leave footprints wherever they go. Others leave a legacy.

Last week, CASA was honored to help celebrate Deputy Clerk Susan Gregory as she stepped out of the courtroom and into retirement. Susan is an extraordinary woman whose kindness, dedication, and servant's heart have left a lasting mark on everyone she has worked with. For 46 years she was the glue that held it all together, a trusted friend to CASA, and a beloved member of the Wilson County Court staff. Her guidance, patience, and compassion have touched countless lives.

While saying goodbye is never easy, we are grateful for the years we shared and excited for her as she begins this well-earned new chapter. Thank you, Susan, for all you've given, for every life you've touched, and for the kindness you shared so freely.

Wishing you happiness, adventure, and all the joy retirement has to offer. ❤️
