Woodworking was once a big part of Richard’s life. While living in East Tennessee, he spent years building with his hands and creating projects that brought him joy and a sense of purpose. After moving into Assisted Living, opportunities to continue that hobby became much more limited.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to help Richard reconnect with that lifelong passion by building birdhouses together. From sanding and assembling to sharing stories along the way, the experience brought back meaningful memories and allowed him to do something he truly enjoys.

Creating opportunities for individuals to reconnect with familiar interests and lifelong passions is at the heart of what we do. Moments like these help foster purpose, confidence, creativity, and connection. 💛
