The Lebanon Police Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended our Open House on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The event was a tremendous success, and we are grateful for the support and enthusiasm shown by our community.

We were thrilled to welcome so many people to the Police Department and provide a behind-the-scenes look at our operations. From guided tours and vehicle displays to K-9 and drone demonstrations, our detective crime mystery, and other activities, the evening was filled with great interactions and plenty of fun for all ages.

A special thank you goes to the New Hampshire State Police and the Grafton County Sheriff’s Office for joining us and helping make the evening even more memorable. Attendees had the opportunity to see the New Hampshire State Police helicopter up close and meet Grafton County Sheriff Jillian Myers. We greatly appreciate the continued partnership and support of both agencies.

Most importantly, we want to thank everyone who took the time to attend, meet our Officers and staff, tour our facility, and learn more about the work we do each day. Events like this give us an opportunity to connect with the community outside of our normal day-to-day interactions, and we truly appreciate the positive conversations and support we received throughout the evening.

We are proud to serve the Lebanon community and look forward to hosting more events like this in the future. Thank you again to everyone who helped make the 2026 Lebanon Police Department Open House such a success.

The Lebanon Police Department is committed to keeping all pedestrians safe, especially kids who walk or bike to and from school. For the Lebanon School District, students will be starting Wednesday, August 26, 2026! We want to remind drivers and students to stay alert and be mindful of the increased traffic that comes at the start of every school year.

School Speed Zone

As students return to school, the Lebanon Police Department will have an increased presence near school zones and will enforce the reduced speed limits. Please be mindful of these school zones and reduce speed appropriately while driving through them.

School Buses

School buses will be returning to their routes to pick up and drop off students. Please remember to abide by the flashing red lights and stop sign on the side of the bus when they are stopped. Children will be getting on and off the bus and crossing the street if necessary.

Be Alert!

Especially this time of year. We ask that drivers take extra care to look out for children, especially when driving near a school zone. Obey the directions and signals of the crossing guards and stop for pedestrians in crosswalks. Also remember to avoid using electronic devices when driving.

The Lebanon Police Department appreciates the public support. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212.
