Last week we had our Key Ceremony to celebrate handing the keys over to our partner family on Nutt Ln! We are so grateful to all the incredible supporters who came out to congratulate the homeowner and see the finished home. This project was possible thanks to all of you! Donors, volunteers, contractors, town officials, and partner organizations. We did it! Official closing in the works, we can't wait to see the family move into their new home!

We are so excited to announce that thanks to a generous grant from Mascoma Bank our Nutt Lane home will have solar power! We are so grateful to the Mascoma Foundation for this grant, Norwich Solar for donating the panels, and Integrity Energy for donating their labor for the installation. With all of these collaborations, the grant will cover the remaining costs if the system! Our partner family will reap the benefits of lower and predictable energy bills for years to come. 🔆🌱

A HUGE thank you to Bar Harbor Bank for a second generous donation towards our Nutt Ln build. Bar Harbor employees were also on site this week swinging hammers, installing flooring, and installing trim. Thanks Bar Harbor Bank & Trust!

We’re so excited to have Vermont Works for Women Trailblazers on site today! Flooring, exterior stairs, and flooring underway! Big push for completion in July!

You can vote for UV Habitat as your non-profit of choice in any Ledyard financial center from May 22nd until July 1st!

How to vote? Visit any Ledyard Bank financial center to cast your vote. One vote per person, per day will be accepted, until July 1st. That means you can vote for us on your weekly, or daily bank run! You must be 18+ in order to participate. Ledyard Bank will announce the vote tally during the week of July 6th.

The nonprofit receiving the most community votes will be granted $15,000! This would be significant in supporting UV Habitat's operations and fulfilling our mission of providing safe, affordable housing!
