UWE Cafe Manager, Amy Hankins, wanted to try a new veggie with her students this week so 20 pounds of asparagus was ordered and cooked, there was NONE left...she even had requests for seconds and thirds!

Friday is School Lunch Hero Day!!

DID YOU KNOW?!?

Our lunch team are some of the only people in a school to see virtually every student every day!! That's an amazing potential for impact and I can tell you, the LSR7 nutrition services team certainly rises to the occasion.

HOW CAN YOU HELP CELEBRATE THEM? Tell them you appreciate them, thank them...send a note with your student to school, a card, anything. You cannot imagine how wonderful they'd feel knowing they are seen!

MENU ALERT: The menus for elementary are flipped. Grab and Go Breakfast shows when you select lunch and lunch shows when you select grab and go breakfast.

The website is having a bit of a glitch and we’ve contacted support. In the meantime, please understand both are posted, but flipped. Thanks
