‘CBS Evening News’ anchor on how the gold-medal-winning men’s hockey team and their unabashed patriotism “rang some sort of a bell in America” that “gave people chills, goose bumps, made them cry even” and reminded us that, while “America is a complicated place,” it’s our “home and, therefore, easy to love”.

🚨A Victory for the Second Amendment in Lincoln!🚨

The Lincoln Republican Town Committee thanks the Lincoln Town Council, especially Councilman Ken Pichette, for their leadership in unanimously opposing the proposed “assault weapons” ban (H5436 and S0359) in the General Assembly.

These bills are a direct attack on the Second Amendment, aimed at stripping law-abiding Rhode Islanders of their rights to self-defense, hunting, and sport shooting. Despite the misleading rhetoric from Governor McKee and his Democrat allies, they serve only to erode our freedoms.
