Some things change, but getting the message out to our members never does.
Do you remember seeing these? Which one is your favorite?

Help us congratulate Member Engagement Specialist Taylor Wankum on graduating from Leadership Jefferson City, a program through the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce!

Leadership Jefferson City provides participants with the opportunity to learn more about our community, connect with local leaders and organizations, and develop leadership skills that make a difference both personally and professionally.

We’re proud of Taylor for completing this program and for her continued commitment to serving our members and communities!

Congratulations, Taylor! We’re excited to see how you continue to put what you’ve learned into action!

Taylor is pictured in the first row, first on the left.

Storms can happen any time of year, and the best time to prepare is before severe weather is in the forecast. As we recognize National Preparedness Month, take a few minutes this week to build or refresh your emergency kit. Include essentials like bottled water, nonperishable food, flashlights, extra batteries, a first-aid kit, medications, phone chargers and important documents.

Stay Safe Around Power Lines!
When operating large equipment near power lines, always be aware of your surroundings and maintain a safe distance.
Large equipment should stay at least 10 feet away from power lines, while cranes and derricks must maintain a minimum 20-foot clearance.
If your work requires you to get closer than 10 feet to a power line, stop and contact us at 573-644-9000 before you begin.
A few extra minutes to plan ahead can help prevent serious injury, equipment damage or even death. Look up, stay clear and work safely.
