Police Blotter, week of July 20th.
On July 25th, at 1:25 a.m., while officers were on patrol in the area of Highland Drive and Oakwood Drive, they made contact with a suspicious person. Robert Alan Faecking, 44, of 722 Whisper Creek Lane, Lodi, was arrested on an active warrant for failure to appear and was transported to the Medina County Sheriff's Office without incident.
On July 24th, at 10:14 a.m., officers met with a citizen at the department who reported being assaulted by an ex-boyfriend on June 23rd. Having recently obtained a protection order, the victim requested to make a formal statement to pursue charges. A report was taken, and an investigation is ongoing.
On July 23rd, at 6:38 p.m., an officer served a criminal summons for obstruction to Alexia Star Crislip, 20, of 236 Elyria Street, Lodi, for hindering an active law enforcement investigation.
On July 22nd, at 8:49 p.m., Officers responded to an apartment complex on Elyria Street for a domestic disturbance involving Cody David Hofstetter, 25, 236 Elyria Street, Lodi. The suspect allegedly pushed and attempted to drag the victim into a vehicle before fleeing on foot into nearby woods. Through extensive tracking efforts with deputies, drones, and resident tips, the suspect was located and arrested for Domestic Violence before being transported to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office without issue.
On July 21st, at 7:34 a.m., an officer arrested Cody David Hofstetter, 25, of 236 Elyria Street, Lodi, on an active warrant. He was transported and booked into the Medina County Sheriff’s Office Jail without issue.
July 20th, at 6:31 a.m., Officers responded to an apartment complex on Elyria Street for a domestic disturbance involving Cody David Hofstetter, 25, 236 Elyria Street, Lodi, who had attempted to strike an individual with a vehicle before fleeing the scene. A report was taken and a warrant issued.
