Here at CRIC, we collaboratively work to affect positive change for refugees and immigrants.

The mission of the Cache Refugee & Immigrant Connection is to promote integration, economic self-sufficiency, and positive connections among refugees, immigrants, and the wider community through improved access to services and education.

CRIC MOMENT! This community member passed a huge test recently! She came to refresh her knowledge of test questions and answers with a volunteer and that hard work paid off!
Taking tests can be very stressful, especially if they are not in your first language. This includes tests for driver licenses, citizenship, workplace trainings, the GED, and more. If you know someone in need of testing support come to our Walk-in Hours on Mondays-Thursdays between 3pm-6pm to get connected with support!

Our Neighborhood Advocacy course was a success! Thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers to teach the classes, more people are able to stand up for their community.

Learn how to navigate the health system! This is a free class taught in Spanish by some of our volunteers with medical experience. Tuesday July 28 from 6-7pm. Share with your friends who speak Spanish so they can attend! The next class will be taught in Dari on Tuesday August 18 from 6-7pm.

¡Aprende a navegar por el sistema de salud! Esta sera una clase gratuita impartida por algunos de nuestros voluntarios con experiencia médica. Martes 28 de Julio de 6-7pm. ¡Comparte con tus amigos que hablan Español para que puedan asistir! La próxima clase estará enseñado en Dari en Martes 18 de Agosto de 6-7pm.

یاد بگیرید که چگونه در سیستم صحی راه خود را پیدا کنید! این یک صنف رایگان است که توسط شماری از رضاکاران ما که تجربهٔ طبی دارند، به زبان اسپانیایی برگزار می‌شود. سه‌شنبه، ۲۸ جولای، از ساعت ۶ تا ۷ عصر. این اطلاعیه را با دوستان خود که به زبان اسپانیایی صحبت می‌کنند شریک سازید تا بتوانند در این صنف اشتراک کنند! صنف بعدی به زبان دری، روز سه‌شنبه، ۱۸ اسد، از ساعت ۶ تا ۷ عصر برگزار خواهد شد

Congratulations to Annette for being selected as our volunteer of the month!💙Annette is a retired school teacher and has been volunteering with CRIC since February 2025. She has dedicated hundreds of hours to helping a single mother and her family adjust to life in America. Annette assists with shopping and appointments, advocates for the children in school, and supports with accessing events and resources in the community. Even a broken ankle could hardly keep her down! CRIC is so grateful to Annette and her volunteer team for being empathetic, passionate champions in our community.🧡

We love celebrating our Financial Literacy Course graduates. This six-week course covers topics surrounding banking in the United States. Some of the topics include: credit, budgeting, fraud/scams, loans, collections, and so much more. 🧡🎓🏦

WHOS EXCITED FOR WORLD REFUGEE DAY?!?!🌍🧡 We sure are! We can't wait to see you all on Saturday, June 13th from 5-8 PM at Willow Park. There will be international snacks, henna, face painting, cultural dances, and community resource booths, all at no cost. See you there!💙

CRIC MOMENT! 🧡 A community member came in asking for help setting up an appointment with the DMV to get a driver’s license. Our case managers helped him navigate the website and schedule the appointment. He visited us this week and let us know that he was able to get his driver’s license! This milestone will open up many more doors. We’re proud to walk alongside community members as they reach their goals. 🚗💙
