this fall, starting friday, october 2, 2026 and continuing through the rest of the year, bundy triangle collective brings a series of public performances, concerts, workshops, symposiums, readings, and publishing events to bundy triangle.
if popup1 examined the potential of a discarded urban space, and popup2 explored different modes of community-building, popup3 focuses on an often-overlooked dimension of the urban everyday: sound.
through popup3, we invite neighbors, stakeholders, friends, and those who are curious to listen more closely—to attune ourselves to the spatial-acoustic qualities of our surroundings, and to consider sound not simply as something we hear, but as an active agent in the production of public space.
over the course of the series, bundy triangle becomes both a site of performance and a site of listening: a temporary bandshell, a civic public space, a backstage rehearsal space, and an instrument through which different forms of collective life can be heard.
