📍 Connecting People to Resources, One Referral at a Time

At St. John Center, our Outreach Referral Tool helps us connect individuals experiencing homelessness with critical services throughout Louisville. By streamlining referrals and tracking needs, we're able to ensure people receive the support they need more quickly and effectively.

So far this year, our outreach team has visited numerous locations throughout the city and across the community, meeting people where they are and building pathways to housing, healthcare, employment, and other essential resources. This map shows all the referrals sent in since we released the tool.

Every visit represents an opportunity to build trust, provide hope, and help someone take the next step toward stability.

🧹💙 Community starts with caring for one another — and our neighborhood.

This week, the Sheehan Landing cleaning crew stepped out into the surrounding neighborhood to help clean up trash and keep our community beautiful. Their hard work is a reminder that everyone deserves pride in the place they call home and that small acts of service can make a big impact.

We’re proud of our residents and team members for leading by example and showing what community care looks like in action. 🌎✨

📢 Funding homeless services is about more than budgets—it’s about people.

Our Executive Director, Ra'Shann "Rae" Martin, recently spoke with Spectrum News 1 about proposed reductions in funding for homeless services and what those cuts could mean for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Louisville.

At St. John Center, we see every day how housing and supportive services change lives. We remain committed to advocating for the resources needed to help our neighbors move from homelessness to stability.
