Recent conversations about homelessness services in Louisville remind us why this work matters.

At St. John Center, we believe every person deserves the dignity, safety, and stability that come with having a place to call home.

“Our goal is to stay open seven days a week during the really hot and really cold months — July and August, and January and February,” Martin said. “The rest of the year, we’re looking at closing on weekends to make up for what we lost from city funding.”

We remain committed to walking alongside our neighbors experiencing homelessness as they build brighter futures for themselves and their families. The Arthur Street Hotel has helped about 400 people experiencing homelessness find stability since 2023.
