of Louisville committed to working towards Palestinian liberation and providing educational events during the school year. Louisville Students for Justice in Palestine is a registered student organization at the University of Louisville. Our purpose is to raise awareness about the struggle for Palestinian liberation by providing educational programming on campus during the school year. We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian Right of Return and indigenous communities around the world leading anti-racist, anti-colonial movements. Our organization has worked with other groups in the Louisville community including Louisville Committee for Peace in the Middle East (LCPME), Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) to increase community understanding of solidarity and intersectional justice work.

🚨ALL OUT TO COURT SUPPORT🚨

Show out Monday July 13th, 9AM @ 600 W. Jefferson St. in solidarity with students facing state repression directed by the University of Louisville. Discrimination of students’ political speech in campaigns against apartheid, genocide, and war are not new to UofL, who has a history of supporting the Vietnam war, apartheid South Africa, and now the Genocide of Palestinians.

In a moment when student organizers across the country are facing intense political persecution, from arrests, swatting, and deportations, - and the media continues to steer the narrative away from this genocide - it is more crucial now than ever to show out in solidarity, and remember the victories of previous student organizers, and the persecution of those active today.

On June 9th the Louisville Students for Justice in Palestine showed out in solidarity with Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. who is facing repression and political persecution by the Chicago pigs.

The same forces repressing Chairman Fred, are the same ones repressing student organizing across campuses like the University of Michigan, Swarthmore, Pittsburgh, and Stanford for fighting for Palestinian Liberation. The Chicago Police Department maintains an active relationship with the Zionist Occupation Forces (IDF). Chicago PD use tactics tested against Palestinians to enforce apartheid to repress black and brown organizing in the belly of the beast.

Just as Minister Huey P. Newton visited Palestine to stand with freedom fighters before, organizers for Palestine are standing in solidarity with the legacy of the Black Panthers and Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.

JOIN US @ 555 W. Harrison 9AM, July 21st for Court Support and Solidarity with the Chairmen Fred Hampton Jr.

The University of Louisville Students for Justice in Palestine stands in solidarity with the eight UMich activists indicted last Wednesday. The state has chosen a path of continued repression against Palestine activism.
We refuse to allow this path to chill the student support for Palestine. Instead we stand in solidarity with those indicted, and understand this tactic for what it is: an admission from the state of the ability for students to expose and oppose the imperialism and zionism central to the university. We will continue to fight these complicit institutions and for the freedom of our comrades.

The Louisville Students for Justice in Palestine explored solidarity between Cuba and Palestine with the International May Day brigade this month! Despite the continued blockade on Cuba, they have healthcare and educational systems far beyond that of the U.S. and participate in true forms of international solidarity with countries around the world. Join us for reflections on our time in Cuba and the lessons from the Revolution. Get involved with us to organize for NO WAR ON CUBA!
