This morning we held a beautiful and moving remembrance ceremony for the people who were enslaved at Riverside on the anniversary of emancipation in Kentucky. It was the perfect day to unveil and dedicate a Bearing Witness paver and sign through the (Un)Known Project. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated. We plan to share video when it is available for those who couldn’t join us for this day of remembrance, reflection, and hope.
