A dozen folks spent a Saturday afternoon recently with Suzanne Brown, retired visiting assistant professor from Dartmouth College, thanks to funding through Vermont Humanities for the Vermont Reads program. The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton was this year's statewide-read book. We look forward to joining Vermont Reads again this year! ❤️📚

The Alden Balch Memorial Library invites you to join a book discussion on this year’s Vermont Reads selection, The Light Pirate, by Lily Brooks-Dalton, on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, AT 2 PM at the library. Conversation about this engaging and timely book will be led by Suzanne Brown, a retired Visiting Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College and Vermont Reads facilitator. All are welcome. Thanks to Vermont Humanities, we have copies of The Light Pirate to give away, available at the library. ❤️📚
