Susan Collins voted to advance $70 billion in funding to ICE with no reforms, even after the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti and the deaths of others in ICE detention centers.

Now, ICE has fatally shot a father, husband, and fellow Mainer. His name was Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, and he leaves his wife and three-year-old daughter behind.

Enough is enough. We need leaders in Washington, D.C. that know this is not normal. It's time for Susan Collins to retire.

FIRST - Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked to find an available location that met our needs on such extremely short notice.
SECOND - Please read carefully and REGISTER AT THE LINK BELOW. Registration will ensure easy check-in so that we may begin promptly.
THIRD - Any Washington County Democrat on the rolls as of June 9, 2026, is invited to attend. We CANNOT accommodate others.

accommodated.
Voting for 8 Delegates and 2 Alternates begins
PROMPTLY at 10:15 am

We are pleased to host this event in Calais, a part of our county that is too often underrepresented when we hold events. We are especially mindful that many of Graham Platner's volunteers came from this area, and we are deeply grateful to WCCC for accommodating us on such short notice and making this event possible.
Please note that no refreshments will be provided. You may bring drinks into the lecture hall, but no food.

Democrats will hold a nominating convention July 25 in Bangor, where 601 delegates will come together to vote on a replacement candidate.
