Join DCC and partners on June 13th for the Orange River Community Paddle! 🛶

This annual event is a celebration of the multi-organization effort of protecting the Orange River Watershed. We will stop at the Estey Mountain trailhead for an optional hike up Estey Mountain, which is only accessible via the water! Then, we will finish with a group picnic.

This is a flat water paddle; canoes, life jackets, and paddles can all be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own gear.

Machias River Inn is looking for a reliable and friendly individual to join our Front Desk team!

This is a part-time position with approximately 2-3 shifts per week. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable solving problems as they arise.

Responsibilities include:
• Checking guests in and out
• Taking reservations over the phone and from walk-in guests
• Processing payments
• Answering guest questions and assisting with their needs
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every guest

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, customer-focused, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
