It's cherry time! Bring a bucket, gloves, and bug spray and get your tart cherries from the tree in the Henderson Garden!

These cherries make great jam, but most people think they are a little too sour to eat by themselves.

Throughout the summer and the fall, Mrs. Milewski will keep the community posted about what is ready from the Henderson Garden! She will put them on the picnic table and they are free for anyone who can use them, first come, first served. (But please leave her baskets and bowls behind!)

The Henderson staff did the best we could to send the kids off on the last day with our traditional school spirit sing-along. However, it was a little chaotic in the pouring rain, so we didn't get any photos or videos until we reassembled on the school steps once all the buses were safely loaded and on their way. Have a safe and fun summer!

El personal de Henderson hizo todo lo posible por despedir a los niños en el último día con nuestra tradicional sesión de canto para celebrar el espíritu escolar. We got all of our Henderson Hustle groups through the course before the storms moved in! It was a very hot, but very FUN fun run for all of the students, staff, family members and volunteers. Thank you to the Henderson Parent Leadership Team for organizing the event (and getting us Kona Ice!), and to all of our sponsors and volunteers!

🎉 We celebrated our 4K promotion on Friday, our kindergarten promotion on Monday, and our 5th grade promotion on Tuesday. Thank you to all of the families and friends who came out to support our scholars!

The Specials Team hosted our annual Camp Henderson to kick off the summer today! Each grade level had an hour of fun in the sun including activities like capture the flag, chalk and bubbles, making bracelets, silly sing-along, Imagination Playground, and water games.
