🎉Hear from one of our most inspiring athletes!

Lilian Rustin shares her experience competing in the 2026 second annual Martinsburg Sprint & Super Sprint Triathlon. Based on publicly available records and reports, Lillian, age 78, is believed to be the first documented, visually impaired/blind female in the United States to complete a triathlon. Her inspiring achievement was supported by an incredible team of staff, volunteers, and race-day supporters who helped make this milestone impossible.
