One thing we have learned to appreciate here in the Thrive Program is small changes that create lasting change and impact. Its not always about taking the next BIG step, it's about taking the next small step as serious as you would the big ones. We have dedicated ourselves to staying focused on the longterm vision of G.S.O. The most beautiful part about this is that we are the forerunners of that future vision. Every small change that we make now, will effect those that will experience this program later. So we value, thank, and understand everything that our guests have had their hand in helping us create. This work makes room for those who come in after us. We will keep this torch lit until we pass it on to the next group and create a space that is better than the space we have now.

Today, we would like to congratulate Charles McDonald on his successful completion of the Thrive Program here at G.S.O.Charles is a prime example of dedication and community spirit. After graduating from the program and transitioning toward full independence, he chose to return to G.S.O. to give back to the community that supported his journey. Driven by a desire to help others experience the same opportunities for change, Charles has joined our team. He now serves on the night shift security team, where he monitors our cameras and manages overnight administrative operations.Thank you, Charles, for your proactive leadership and dedication to our mission. Their focus and dedication to rebuilding their lives are truly remarkable, representing some of the most driven individuals we have hosted in a long time.The atmosphere at Good Samaritan is currently defined by a strong sense of genuine, positive change. Good morning, McAlester, Oklahoma. Today, we want to express our sincere gratitude to the Gospel Rescue Mission OK for hosting us during a recent three-day trip to Muskogee. This opportunity allowed our team member, Giovanni, to shadow the mission's staff, leaders, and guests, gaining deep insights into their impactful work. While Giovanni returned with a wealth of information from his interviews, he noted that the formal data and accumulated history couldn't match what truly resonated with him. Beyond the strategic intel, it was the genuine love and kindness the staff extended to every guest that stood out most. This profound dedication powerfully reaffirmed the core values we hold dear at The Good Samaritan Outreach. Community is not accidental — it is built with intention, commitment, and shared purpose. At Good Samaritan Outreach, we understand and believe in the importance of community because, at our most basic level, we are social beings created for connection. No one has ever left their mark on the world alone. The world is far too big for any of us to conquer by ourselves.

Where one person may lack, another may be strong. Where one struggles, another can step in and help steady the path. We all carry strengths, and we all carry areas that need development — and community is where those pieces come together.

Good Samaritan Outreach is pleased to announce our recent collaboration with Keep McAlester Beautiful on local mural preservation in McAlester, OK. Our team assisted in applying a protective clear coat to one of the city's public murals, ensuring long-term durability and maintenance of local public art. We recognize the operational leadership of Lacey Fields, Executive Director of Keep McAlester Beautiful, whose coordination made this project efficient and effective.
