🔥First Due Engine🔥

At 1343 today, 275 engine was sent on automatic aid to McKees Rocks for a house on fire. 275 engine, staffed with 4, went enroute during dispatch. 275 duty chief arrived on scene to find smoke showing from a 2.5 story single family residence with reports of people trapped.

275 engine arrived as the first due engine, and reported a knock on the fire just 6 minutes after calling enroute, and prior to another unit arriving onscene. Due to the report of people trapped, the engine crew then performed a primary search on divisions 1 and 2 with negative findings.

Additional first alarm companies arrived, checked for extension, and worked on ventilation. 275 duty chief maintained command for the duration of the incident. No injuries reported.

🔥Automatic Aid House Fire🔥 At 0756 this morning, the first alarm assignment was dispatched for smoke from a house in McKees Rocks. 275 Engine, staffed with 3, arrived onscene as the first due engine with smoke showing from the roof. The engine crew extinguished the fire located in the attic/second floor. Additional automatic aid companies arrived and assisted opening up, and extinguishing hot spots. 275 operated with a total of 9 volunteers on the scene for approximately an hour and a half. No reported injuries.

Yesterday, the Stowe Township Fire Department along with Stowe Police Department had the honor of helping Santa make his way through our community aboard our fire trucks! Seeing the smiles, waves, and excitement from families made it all worth it. 🎄✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to say hello and helped spread the holiday spirit. And as always, thank you for your continued support of your volunteer firefighters.
