The Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association, known as the SCIAA, is the structure in which all athletics in the Shelby County Schools System is encompassed and locally regulated. Opportunities are offered to students to participate in basketball, baseball, football, soccer, softball, track & field, golf, swimming, tennis, wrestling, volleyball, cross country and bowling. The SCIAA curre

ntly consists of 95 schools including 16 charter schools, ranging from grades 6-12. SCS athletic programs involves over 1300 coaches and 12,000 student athletes.

Reminder that DEAD PERIOD for ALL SPORTS begins following this weekend. This means no coaching, observing, or contact between coach and players in sport involved. There is no practice, no open facilities, and no weight training/conditioning.
