Thank you Minnesota!

We now have a pro-legalization majority in our state!

There is plenty of work left for us to do to together in order to ensure we pass legislation in our state that is equitable, responsible, and innovative.

If we need want to see responsible legalization in Minnesota, we must have the signature of the Governor to make it happen.

Even if we secure a pro-legalization majority in both the house and the senate, the Governor may still veto legislation to legalize cannabis in Minnesota if they do not personally (or politically) support it.

We know Tim Walz for Governor and Peggy Flanagan for Lieutenant Governor both believe and support full legalization and will sign it into law. Without question they will be an integral part of our pro-legalization majority.

It is clear that we need a Pro-Legalization majority leader in the Attorney General’s office— we know Keith Ellison is that leader.

AG Ellison has and will continue to defend Minnesota laws in the courts, including challenges to our laws by large multi-state operators preserving a future market that favors small business and provides fair opportunity for Minnesotans to enter the cannabis market.
