The Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) extends its appreciation to the Liberian people, the media, and all patriotic citizens who followed our national press conference held on Saturday.
The EFFL notes with satisfaction that while some opposition political parties gathered in Grand Gedeh County to commemorate the anniversary of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), it was our policy-driven press conference that captured the attention of the nation and shifted the political conversation toward the real issues confronting the Liberian people.
Our comprehensive presentation on electoral law reform, the reported US$19 million narcotics matter, governance, and national accountability demonstrated that the EFFL remains the most organized, policy-oriented, and ideologically prepared political movement in Liberia today. Unlike the traditional opposition, whose engagements continue to recycle familiar political rhetoric, the EFFL remains focused on providing practical solutions to the country's challenges.
The Liberian people are no longer interested in politics for politics' sake. They are demanding visionary leadership, revolutionary ideas, economic justice, and genuine institutional reforms. These are the values that define the Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia.
The EFFL remains unwavering in its commitment to exposing corruption, defending democracy, advocating for electoral reforms, and championing the interests of ordinary Liberians. Our movement will continue to provide fearless leadership and present concrete policy alternatives that address the everyday realities faced by our citizens.
We commend every Liberian who continues to believe in our revolutionary vision and assure the nation that this movement is preparing for the future with discipline, organization, and a clear agenda for national transformation.
To those in the CDC calling the EFFL "compromised," such claims reflect political misunderstanding, not reality. The EFFL remains guided by principle, not propaganda.
To our friends in the Unity Party, let it be clear: the EFFL is not an auxiliary of any political party. Our cooperation is based on shared values, and we will always speak when those values are upheld or undermined.
The EFFL has never guaranteed support for anyone's second-term ambition. Our commitment is to our principles and the Liberian people.
