Mrs. Drews’s kindergarten class had a Friday Fun Day practicing their number recognition and counting fluency with math games.

Mobile Symphony teaching artists Ms. Ashley Overby and Ms. Annie Young are excited to start strings classes in September! New for this year is our 4th and 5th grade beginner classes, no prior experience necessary and no additional classes or private lessons are required to participate! Registration forms are due by Friday, September 11th, so register soon to make sure your student doesn't miss out on any of the fun! Extra forms are available at the school office and on the Mobile Symphony website. You can mail registration forms to the Mobile Symphony or email them to Ms. Pardo or Ms. Overby. Emails and the mailing address are listed on the form.

Reminder! Parent meetings are this week.
The third-grade parent meeting is Tuesday, August 25th at 3:35 in the cafeteria. Fifth -grade parent meetings are Tuesday, August 25th at 3:35 or 5:00. Fourth grade will have their parent meeting on Wednesday, August 26th at 3:45. Please pick up your students in carpool first, then loop back around to park in the gravel lot. Remain in your vehicle until carpool is over.

Each day that every student in a class is present, the class will earn a new part for their Mr. Potato Head. Once the class completes their Present Potato, students will celebrate with a special chip party! Let’s work together to promote good attendance and ensure our scholars are at school, on time, and ready to learn every day!
