Our Somerby family proudly came together to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Wearing pink is more than just a color—it represents strength, courage, and hope as we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and lovingly remember those we have lost.

Thank you to everyone who participated, wore pink, donated, and helped us spread awareness. Together, even the smallest gesture can make a meaningful difference.

Stepping Toward a Safer, Stronger Future!
We were excited to welcome students from the University of South Alabama as they joined FOX Therapy for a special Fall Prevention Screening at Somerby Mobile!
It was a wonderful success, with our residents taking an active role in learning more about their balance, mobility, and ways to help reduce the risk of falls. We loved seeing the one-on-one interaction, encouragement, and education throughout the day.
A big thank you to the students and FOX Therapy for investing their time and knowledge in the health and safety of our residents!
Strong steps today can make a difference tomorrow!

A Great Day at Ivey’s!
We had a great turnout for our trip to Ivey’s Restaurant in Robertsdale, Alabama! Everyone enjoyed delicious food, wonderful service, lots of laughter, and most of all, each other’s company.
It was so nice to get out, try something different, relax, visit, and simply enjoy the day together.

Sjoelen Fun in Full Swing!

Things got a little exciting when the Sjoelen boards came out! Our Somerby family had a great time taking turns, cheering each other on, and seeing who could master the game.

Even our Director, Linda couldn’t resist joining in! We love moments like these when everyone comes together, tries something different, and enjoys a little fun along the way.

Sweet Porch Moments!
The weather was just too good to stay inside! Our residents took advantage of the beautiful day by relaxing on the front porch and catching up with their neighbors.

Fun, Fitness & Smiles at Lilac Trace!
Who says exercise can’t be fun? Our Lilac Trace residentshad a wonderful time getting active with a little Jelly Ball Fitness! From lifting and reaching to moving and stretching, this fun exercise session brought plenty of movement and energy. Staying active is always better when we do it together!
A special thank you to FOX Therapy for helping keep our residents moving, engaged, and having fun!

Germany was on the menu, and everyone were ready for it!
Our Chef’s Signature Table: A Culinary Journey Through Germany brought something a little different to the table—and judging by the smiles and empty plates, it was a hit! Shoutout to our Culinary Team for putting together a menu that gave everyone a taste of Germany without the plane ticket! And thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes to keep the evening moving.
Another country explored, another memory made, and definitely another meal worth talking about!

A little practice, a lot of teamwork, and one bell at a time…
Our residents have been working together, learning their parts and practicing for their Handbell Concert—and today, they got to share what they’ve been creating with everyone.
There’s something pretty special about watching a group come together and turn individual notes into one beautiful piece of music. The smiles, concentration, and occasional laugh along the way made the performance even better.
To our resident handbell group—you practiced, you played, and you entertained us beautifully.

Sometimes the best gatherings are the simple ones.
We took our VA Luncheon outdoors and let the beautiful weather do the decorating! Our patio was filled with good food, easy conversation, plenty of smiles, and some pretty great company.
It was a chance to slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time with some of the incredible Veterans who call Somerby Mobile home.
Good weather + good food + great people = an afternoon well spent.
