-The Family Navigator Program -YA Mental Health Information Session-
Because a family's mental health matters! And every family deserves support. No one should have to figure this out alone.
The Family Navigator Program invites families and community partners to an open information session to learn more about the support they provide starting at 6 PM tonight at the Monongahela Area Library.
This is a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to explore services, ask questions, and better understand what support is available when navigating mental health challenges, school concerns, and community systems. Parents will also have the opportunity to learn practical ways to advocate for their child, connect to services, and feel more confident navigating systems that can often feel complicated or difficult to access. They serve families with youth and young adults, ages 12-21.
π¨ TONIGHT IN MONONGAHELA π¨
Families in the Mon Valley are carrying A LOT right now β stress, anxiety, school struggles, behavioral concerns, burnout, crisis situations, and trying to navigate systems that feel impossible.
And when communities are already facing economic hardship, access to mental health care can become even harder to reach.
π Some Mon Valley communities experience poverty rates greater than 20%, creating real barriers to care like transportation challenges, long waitlists, limited providers nearby, insurance issues, and families simply not knowing where to turn.
Thatβs why THIS matters. π
Tonight, come join us for a FREE Family Mental Health Information & Support Session focused on supporting not just youth & young adults β but caregivers and families too.
